Introduction

What the SUPERWISE Agentic Management Platform (AMP) does, in one minute

The SUPERWISE® Agentic Management Platform (AMP) is where teams build, govern, and run AI agents. It sits between AI applications and the models they call, as a control plane that governs, observes, and enforces policies across your AI environment. It is also the platform underneath SUPERWISE Sentinel, the AI gateway: every Sentinel and every agent you build reports to it, so one set of policies and one audit trail cover all of them.

This section covers the platform. If you're here for the AI gateway, head to SUPERWISE Sentinel. Looking for SUPERWISE Chat? It has its own page at superwise.ai/chat.

Four platform stages: Build AI applications, Observe data and models, Safeguard against misuse and attacks, Govern for privacy and regulatory standards

What does the platform do?

The four stages in the diagram above are build (construct and deploy AI applications), observe (monitor, explain, and optimize data and models), safeguard (protect against misuse and attacks), and govern (enforce privacy and regulatory standards). The platform works at three points in an AI system's life:

  • Configuration time: define policies, schemas, and datasets, and configure guardrails, access controls, and monitoring rules before anything runs.
  • Runtime: guardrails evaluate inputs and outputs, events are tracked, and policies are enforced on every AI decision.
  • Post-runtime: analytics aggregate performance metrics, audit trails capture lineage, and dashboards and reports are generated.

The sections that follow cover each part: building applications, guardrails, observability, and deployment. For an overview, see SUPERWISE AMP on superwise.ai.

An application you build on the platform can use the model you choose, carry your branding, run guardrails, draw on several data sources, collect user feedback, and be embedded in your own application or reached through the API. See Deploying SUPERWISE apps.

The platform runs as SaaS by default, with private cloud options on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. See Deployment and Security.
