Compares the distributions returned by two queries. The response gives the frequencies for each query and the Jensen-Shannon divergence and Wasserstein distance between them.

When to use it

Use it to measure drift between two sets of data, such as the same field in a training dataset and in recent inference data. Jensen-Shannon divergence suits categorical values, and Wasserstein distance suits numeric values.

Required parameters

  • query_a (body): the first query, with its measures and optional dimensions, filters, order, and time zone.
  • query_b (body): the second query, in the same form.

Response

A successful call returns 200 OK with frequencies_a, frequencies_b, jensen_shannon_divergence, and wasserstein_distance.
