Creates a tag with a name and a color.

When to use it

Use it to set up a grouping, such as a project, team, or use case, before you add the tag to resources such as agents, guardrails, datasets, dashboards, or policies.

Required parameters

• name (body): the tag name, 1 to 50 characters.
• color (body): a six-digit hex color, such as #157ECB.

Response

A successful call returns 201 Created with the Tag object: id, name, color, created_by, and timestamps.
