Creates a sentinel. Every body field is optional: name, description, location, local_guardrail_config, and tokens_optimization_config. Its local_guardrail_config maps each guardrail type (secrets, pii, rudeness, language_checker, json_schema_enforcer, image_resolution, or image_sharpness_level) to a redact or block setting.

When to use it

Use it to register a new Sentinel gateway and set the guardrails it applies locally.

Required parameters

This call takes no required parameters.

Response

A successful call returns 201 Created with the SentinelSchema object, including id, name, location, local_guardrail_config, status (active or pending), version, and heartbeat_at.
